With a background spanning more than 25 years in marketing, sales, communications, and negotiations, Lora brings a wealth of experience to her real estate clients. After years of successfully selling her own homes and hearing friends and family tell her she should become a Realtor, she finally took their advice. Seven years later, she hasn't looked back!
Born and raised in Richmond, Indiana, Lora built a successful career in marketing and sales before transitioning into real estate in 2020. Her extensive marketing background has proven to be a valuable asset for her sellers. Her marketing efforts have received numerous awards, and she knows how to position and promote properties to help them stand out in the market.
Lora and her husband, Scott, previously worked with a large brokerage before making the move to Nest Realty. They were drawn to Nest's personalized, boutique feel and especially loved the brokerage's unique approach to marketing. For Lora, it offered the combination of personal support and standout marketing she was looking for.
Her favorite part of being a Realtor is simple: helping people. Whether she's guiding a first-time buyer step-by-step, helping a growing family find more space, assisting someone relocating to the area, or working with clients ready to downsize, Lora loves being part of these important life transitions. And one thing her clients can count on is that Lora will go the extra mile. Simply doing the minimum isn't how she operates.
Her advice for first-time home buyers is to start preparing early. "Get your financing in order well before you begin looking. Meet with a lender early so you know where you stand and have time to work on anything needed to be ready."
Real estate has also become a family affair. After retiring from their previous careers, Lora and Scott now work together as Southern Indiana's Dynamic Duo in Real Estate!
Outside of work, Lora enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time at the beach. Fall is her favorite season in Southern Indiana, and Italy is at the very top of her travel list. Luckily, she won't have to wait long because a trip to Italy is coming up soon!
Lora lives in Charlestown with Scott and is the proud mom of two adult sons and grandmother to 10 grandchildren. She is also actively involved at Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville.
