Churchill Downs: The first and most famous race in the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby, has been held here at Churchill Downs since 1875. Bedford Stone Houses: Bedford or Indiana limestone is a very popular building material in this area, quarried right next door in the Hoosier State. Bedford stone houses are the perfect blend of sturdy, quaint, and classic.

Halloween is more than a one day affair in Iroquois Park! Every year in October, you can stroll through a pumpkin wonderland as you experience the warm glow of 5,000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns. The pumpkin carving theme changes every year!
Waverly Hills Sanatorium
Originally a tuberculosis hospital built in the early 1900s, Waverly Hills closed in the 1960's but is not a quiet place today. Fans of the paranormal will recognize the old sanatorium as one of the most haunted sites in the country. Take a tour if you dare!
